The Mystery Caravan was held on March 31st this year. We met at Fire Station and left as scheduled at 1:00 p.m. Every seat was filled.
Polly & Billy Wilson did another great job organizing and managing this years Mystery Caravan. You got to know that it's a great trip that the driver from last year asked to drive this year and brought his wife with him. Many THANKS to Polly and Billy.
For the record, we left Kent and drove to Bellingham where we toured the Whatcom Museum. It was a nice tour. By the way did you know that Bellingham is the "City of Subdued Excitement?"
Would I lie to you?
From Bellingham we retuned south to Mt Vernon and had dinner at the "Kings Table" buffet in Mt Vernon. It worked our find. This was where we took our group picture.
As you can see, the weather was great. While at dinner we met several square dancer and do you know, they wouldn't tell us where they were going to dance.
After dinner we traveled to Sedro-Woolley and the Skagit Valley Grange for the Mt. Baker Counci Spring Festival Dance.
If you were wondering how many dancers were there, it was 333 paid dancers.
Here are a few picture of the days event.
